"Secrets to Cooking Tex-Mex"

MEXICAN GREEN BEANS
Ingredients:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 lb. green beans, trimmed

1 large onion, peeled and chopped
-
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
-
1 can (10 oz.) RO*TEL Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies
-
2 teaspoons basil
-
juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
Directions:
In a large skillet, saute beans, onion and garlic in hot oil until
beans
are tender-crisp. Stir in RO*TEL and basil. Simmer uncovered
for
10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Serves 6.
